Sandra got a splint for her wrist and thumb this morning, so she can start bearing weight on her left arm (at the elbow). Prior to the splint, she just had a LOT of bandages on the wrist/arm/thumb area.
The splint also keeps the injured thumb immobilized.
That's good on two accounts. Not the broken stuff, but the repairing and proper care.

DeleteSandra, I know you have real folks, in the flesh who can visit with you and root for your recovery.
I wish I could...
Girl I am SO happy to hear you are okay. I know that stubborn can-do spirit and the love you share with Anita will help you rock solid on the road to recovery. Please know that although I am not physically there. I am at this moment sending you loving thoughts, rah-rah cheers and prayers in your direction.
Always,
Lola
