Progress

She is feeling great today!


Today Sandra was in the wheelchair and out of the bed for almost ten (10) hours. They took her out to the patio outside (OUTSIDE!) in the under-the-oak-tree canopy patio, where she read, and enjoyed the birds/squirrel sounds, just anything besides being inside a room, for three hours. 

Her aide brought her lunch of mashed potatoes and fresh green beans and she dined al fresco. 

She's going to the orthopedic clinic on Wednesday afternoon to get a diagnosis on her right wrist/hand. I told her I wanted to see her x-rays, ALL of them, she started singing 'I want x-rays! I want x-rays!' to the tune of 'I want candy!' :)  She stopped herself and said, "I sang! Its the first time in ... a while."  /tear

She also partially dressed herself, with the help of a 'grabber' tool, except.....she put the pants on backwards. Still, THEY WERE ON!
